Rotary valves • Airlocks • Feeders

Rotary valves and airlocks reviewed around the material, capacity and system fit.

Rotary valves are application-sensitive. We review the product handled, required feed rate, pressure or vacuum condition, valve location, inlet/outlet connection, clean-out needs and replacement dimensions before quoting a suitable supplier option or adapter package.

What changes the correct valve?

Material characteristics, air leakage, pressure differential, cleaning access, rotor style, inlet/outlet size and drive arrangement can all affect the recommendation.

MaterialPowder, pellet, grain, ingredient, abrasive product, sticky product or food-grade requirement.
CapacityTarget throughput, bulk density, duty cycle and whether metering accuracy matters.
ConnectionExisting flange, bolt pattern, square/round opening, inlet/outlet adapter or custom transition.
System conditionGravity discharge, pressure conveying, vacuum conveying, receiver discharge or collector discharge.

Valve package support

A request may be a simple replacement or a small package involving accessories and fabricated fit-up parts.

Replacement airlocks

Use photos, nameplates, drawings, old invoices, flange dimensions and bolt patterns to identify replacement options.

Blow-through valves

Reviewed where the valve feeds directly into a conveying line and line geometry affects fit-up.

Drop-through feeders

Common under bins, hoppers, receivers, filters and process equipment where controlled discharge is required.

Adapters and transitions

Custom inlet/outlet adapters, spool pieces, flanges and square-to-round transitions can be quoted with the valve.

Drive and controls coordination

Motor, reducer, speed and control preferences can be reviewed as part of the quote scope.

Installation support

For replacement or retrofit work, installation coordination can be discussed where the scope fits.
